Y'all Need This

I'm an avid Pur Minerals user. I used to use Bare Minerals and LOVED it, until one week my skin started to revolt against me, and after removing several different things from my diet/routine, I discovered it was my makeup (boo, right?). Luckily my local Ulta helped me find a new mineral makeup that wouldn't irritate my skin - Pur Minerals.

I am also a collector of lip glosses, chap sticks, lip sticks, chubby lip gloss sticks… pretty much if it's lip color related, I own it or have tried it. I've always been on a hunt for the PERFECT lipstick/gloss for my EXTREMELY pale skin tone. I'm not huge on bright colored lips. For some reason I have this body dysmorphia thing going, anytime I have a bright lip I feel like I look like a clown. My face is so white and the lipstick is so bright, it just screams - CLOWN! Part of this could be because I wear a heavier eye makeup and it just makes me feel TOO made up, but regardless, I've been searching FOREVER for a good nude lipstick.

A few weeks ago, I got an email from Pur Minerals about a new Chateau de Vine lipstick they launched that also had anti aging properties. HELLO, LOVELY! I immediately headed to Ulta and picked out the peachy nude shade - Smooth Talker - and decided to give it a try.

I didn't filter my photos so that y'all could see the color of their nude color. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the color and everything about this lipstick is DEVINE. I have to say that I think I may have found the end of my lipstick woes. It's smooth, it covers well, doesn't feel cakey or dry, and (this may be all in my head) my lips feel like they are in better condition since I've started using it regularly.

This is what it looks like on my color challenged skin. Pretty nice, huh?

I definitely feel like it is more of an enhancement to my skin instead of adding to the clowny-ness of my makeup. So, if you've been searching for a really great lipstick to add to your already enormous collection or are just trying to find the perfect fit, I highly recommend this product. Y'all need this lipstick.
